Kitsch Vintage 70s Ceramic Wood Elephant Table Lamp Western Publishing Modern

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a fun kitschy ceramic elephant table lamp. Circa '70s. The elephant is seated atop a rectangular ceramic base that is designed to look like wood. The lamp is signed and dated along the back bottom edge of the elephant: ©1975 Western Publishing Co Inc. (see photos). No shade present - that'll be left up to the purchaser to provide on their own. This cute little lamp will make a swell addition to any children's room!

Measurements: Approx. 10.75" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the light socket). The ceramic elephant measures approx. 6.75" tall x 6" wide x 4.5" deep. The rectangular base at the bottom measures approx. 5.75" wide x 4" deep x 1.25" tall.

Condition: Very good condition - no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, scratches, etc. Shows only the slightest traces of wear that are consistent with age and handling. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. The electrical wiring looks to be original to the lamp, and it is in good shape - no frays, splits, exposed, broken or brittle wires. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed professional inspect the lamp prior to long-term use. This lamp is being sold in "as-is", "as-described" condition.
