Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a cool atomic-era vintage ceramic / brass table lamp. Uncertain of the maker. Circa '50s / '60s. Colors: Turquoise / Gold. Above the ceramic portion of the base, and just below the socket, is an atomic accent piece (see photos). The ceramic portion of the base rests atop a scalloped brass metal base at the very bottom. The lamp features a standard on/off rotary knob switch which is located directly at the socket. No shade is present - that'll be left up to the purchaser to provide on their own. This lamp will make a nice addition to any mid century modern, atomic-themed dwelling!
Measurements: Approx. 31" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the finial), and approx. 24.5" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the light socket). The ceramic portion of the base measures approx. 13.5" tall x 6" wide x 6" deep.
Condition: Overall, the lamp is in very good condition. The ceramic portion of the base is free from chips, cracks, breaks, scratches, repairs, etc. The brass metal base at the very bottom shows signs of spotting / tarnishing / discoloration as can be expected from age - nothing bad or alarming in our opinion (see photos). The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. The electrical wiring looks to be original to the lamp, and it is in good shape - no frays, splits, exposed, broken or brittle wires. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed professional inspect the lamp prior to long-term use. This lamp is being sold in "as-is", "as-described" condition. If you have questions, please let us know and we'll be happy to answer them in a timely manner.
