Framed Vintage Mallard Duck Crewel Embroidery Fiber Art Wall Hanging Finished

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a framed and finished vintage crewel fiber art wall hanging. Theme: Mallard or Duck in water. The frame is constructed of wood. Unknown in terms of who did this piece.

Measurements: Approx. 21" tall x 17" wide.

Condition: Good vintage condition. There are a few threads of yarn that are a little loose, but not clearly visible when hanging on a wall. At first we didn't even notice them as they aren't readily visible (see photos). Aside from that, it appears to be fine. The frame is structurally solid, and displays well - shows only minimal traces of wear that are consistent with age and handling. The finished product shows a little bit of the background mesh canvas material on the lower left-hand side inside the frame (see photo) - probably just needs a slight adjustment. It didn't bother us, so we just left it as acquired. The brown paper lining on the back shows a little wear (again, see photos). There is a jagged metal hanging tab on the back side of the frame for hanging.
