Vintage 1960s Orange Telescoping Lightolier Lamp Mid Century Modern Atomic Lytegem Michael Lax

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage telescoping LYTEGEM orb lamp designed by Michael Lax for Lightolier. Circa '60s. The vertical metal stalk is telescoping which enables the orange orb shade to be set at different heights. The shade itself is also adjustable; it can pivot from side to side. The one/off switch is located on the base, and it allows for different intensity settings. The base is marked "Lightolier", as is the underside of the base (see photos).

Measurements: With the shade extended to full height, the lamp stands approx. 15" tall. The bark base at the bottom measures approx. 2.5" tall x 2.5" wide x 2.5" deep.

Condition: The lamp is in excellent condition - there are no chips, cracks, breaks, dents, dings, repairs, etc. The electrical wiring looks to be original to the lamp, and it is in good shape - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. The lamp is fully functioning, working condition. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed electrician inspect the item prior to long-term use.
