Small Round Vintage Burl Wood Lamp Woven Cylindrical Shade Modern Lighting 70s

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a round vintage burl wood table lamp with its original accompanying shade. The wood shows natural imperfections throughout which lends to its beauty. The shade takes on a woven appearance; it is beige in color and cylindrical in shape. There is a standard on/off rotary knob switch at the socket which is used to control the lamp. We are uncertain as to who made the lamp - there are no signatures detected.

Measurements: With the shade attached, the lamp stands approx. 21" tall x 8" wide. The burl wood base alone measures approx. 6.25" tall x 6.5" wide x 6.5" deep. The shade alone measures approx. 12" tall x 8" in diameter.

Condition: The lamp is in very good condition. The burl wood base shows natural imperfections in the wood (see photos). There are no chips, cracks, breaks, scratches, repairs, etc. The woven shade show light traces of wear that are consistent with age and handling - there are no chips, cracks, breaks, burn marks, repairs, etc - it's in nice shape! We have not attempted to clean or polish this lamp base in any manner. The electrical wiring looks to be original to the lamp, and it is in good shape - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. The lamp is fully functioning, working condition. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed electrician inspect the item prior to long-term use.
