Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a super cool, extra tall vintage ceramic table lamp. Circa '60s. The base is ceramic, while the shade feels like a cardboard material, and the matching finial is constructed of wood. Colors: Alternating Orange, Beige. The bottom of the base is octagonal in shape We are uncertain as to the manufacturer of the lamp - no tags or labels present.
Measurements: The lamp stands approx. 41.25" tall (from the bottom of the base to the top of the finial) x 7.5" wide x 7.5" deep. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 28" high. The ceramic portion of the base measures approx. 24.25" tall. The bottom of the base measures approx. 7.5" in long. The shade measures approx. 14" tall x 16" in diameter (top) x 18" in diameter (bottom).
Condition: Overall, the lamp is in very good condition. The base is free from chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. It could use a gentle cleaning, but it does display very nicely in its current state. The shade shows some wear as can be expected with age. We aren't 100% certain, but the shade material feels like cardboard with an orange paint color overlay - the orange color shows some light horizontal crack marks scattered throughout (see photos) - they aren't too noticeable, but they are there. The electrical wiring looks to be original, and it is in good shape - no frays, splits exposed or brittle wires. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having a licensed professional inspect prior to long-term use, just to be safe. Being sold "as-is", and "as-described" - if you have questions, we do encourage you to ask them before purchasing as all sales are final. Please bid with confidence.
NOTE: With the shade, this lamp is VERY LARGE. It will need to ship in two separate parcels - one will contain the base, while the other will contain the shade. If you wish to cut down on the cost of shipping, and you don't want the shade, just let us know so that we can adjust the shipping accordingly. Unfortunately, shipping has become very expensive, hence the rate.
