Vintage 1960s Hamilton Industries MCM Telescoping Desk Lamp Mid Century Japan

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage adjustable desk lamp for Hamilton Industries. Made in Japan. Circa '60s. The lamp has an extension arm which allows the shade to rest at variable heights, and the shade also has the ability to pivot left and right on its attachment axis. The lamp has an on/off switch which provides for two different light intensities. It still also has its original sticker label present on the back side (see photo).

Measurements: With the shade in the fully closed position, the lamp stands approx. 6.5" tall x 7" long. With the shade full extended and positioned downward, the height can increase up to 17" tall. The metal base at the bottom measures approx. 4.5" x 4".

Condition: The lamp is in good cosmetic condition - there are no significant chips, creaks, breaks, rust, oxidation, dents, dings, repairs, etc. There are some scattered minor superficial scratch marks - nothing too bad or overly glaring - we're solely mentioning them for accuracy. The electrical wiring appears to be original and in good shape. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order - the bulb was burnt out when the photos were taken.
