Fantasia Products Rotating Fiber Optic Chrome Orb Lamp Lighting Modern MCM Fun!

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a fun vintage rotating sunburst fiber optic lamp manufactured by Fantasia Products (Boylston, MA). Circa '70s. Model 4000. Materials: Chrome, Fiber Optic Filaments. There is a rotating color wheel mechanism on the inside which provides for multi color options as the filaments are turning. The lamp has a standard inline switch allowing the lamp to turn on and off. The lamp still retains its original labels (please see photos).

Measurements: With the fiber optic filaments inserted, the lamp measures approx. 26" tall x 9.25" wide x 9.25" deep. The filaments measure approx. 13" long. Without the filaments inserted, the chrome lamp portion measures approx. 14" tall.

Condition: With the exception of two small dings that were a little difficult to photograph (see photos), it's in very good shape. The dings can probably be finessed back into shape from the interior outward, but we didn't attempt it. Alternately, they can be turned to face the back. The color wheel rotates properly, as do the fibers. The motor runs relatively quite as well. Free from rust, oxidation, repairs, etc. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having a licensed professional inspect before long-term use. Being sold "as-is, as-described".
