Vintage 60s Adjustable Orange Drafting Lamp Light Mid Century MCM Modern Denmark

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage adjustable drafting lamp. Circa '60s. Materials: Metal (Steel, Aluminum, Springs), Plastic. Colors: Orange. The lamp features an adjustable aluminum shade, and two spring coiled extension arms. Each arm has an off-white plastic adjuster that is used to tighten the arms into position. The lamp comes with its original steel C-lamp which is used to position and attach the lamp into a location for use. The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch that is located on the top portion of the aluminum shade. The lamp is stamped "Made in Denmark", and it still has an original UL sticker label attached (see photo).

MEASUREMENTS: Each of the two adjustable arms measures approx. 16" in length, so when extended to its full height, the lamp stands approx. 32" tall. The aluminum shade measures approx. 6.75" long x 6.75" in diameter. The steel c-lamp used for attachment is approx. 4" long.

CONDITION: Overall the lamp is in good condition. The shade has a small shallow dent (see photos), as well as some small superficial scratch marks to the paint (again, see photos). The dent may be able to be finessed out from the inside of the shade since it is aluminum - we didn't attempt to try it. The light scratches can either be left alone or touched up; they are really small and insignificant in our opinion. Aside from those few cosmetic mentions, the lamp is in nice shape and in 100% working order - there's no rust, oxidation, repairs, etc. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly encourage having a licensed electrician inspect the wiring prior to long-term use.
