Vintage MCM Herman Miller Eames Fiberglass Chair Upholstered Mid Century Modern

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage Eames fiberglass chair for Herman Miller. The chair was used in a work break room in St. Louis. It is upholstered in an orange leather material. The fiberglass shell is colored taupe. The chair rotates on its base. The bottom of the fiberglass shell is stamped "Herman Miller", and shows the embossed Herman Miller logo (see photos). The original paper tag is attached, and there is an alpha-numeric sequence stamped onto the fiberglass as well.

MEASUREMENTS: The backrest of the chair is approx. 32" high. The distance from armrest to armrest is approx. 25". The seat height is approx. 17", while the depth is 16" and the width is approx. 16". The armrest height is approx. 26.5" high.

CONDITION: Overall the chair is in decent condition, but it does have some age related wear which we'll mention here. First off, the upholstery shows signs of surface wear - some light scuffs, scratches, and faint discoloration in areas. There is a small, yet stable, puncture about the size of a pea on the seat material - looks like a cigarette burn. We have not done anything in an attempt to clean the chair - it is being presented for sale exactly as it was acquired. The edges of the chair, as well as the upholstery seams, all appear to be fine with no issues to report. All of the original screws used to fasten the chair to the base are present.
