ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a cool vintage chunky acrylic rock candy hanging swag light fixture. Circa '60s. The cylindrical shade hangs between three equally sized and equally spaced wooden walnut accent pieces that bow outwards. At the very bottom of the fixture there is also a wooden finial (see photos) that hangs at the bottom. Color: Red. The lamp has an inline on/off switch, as well as a pull chain that is located at the socket. We are uncertain as to the maker of the fixture - there are no tags or labels present. It's a wonderful retro fixture that is suitable for all interior settings.
MEAUREMENTS: The fixture measures approx. 31.25" tall x 13" wide x 13" deep. The hanging cylindrical shade at the center measures approx. 14" tall x 6" in diameter.
CONDITION: Overall the fixture is in very good condition for its age. There are some minor cosmetic flaws which we will mention now. First off, the shade appears to be missing some of the smaller gravel like material along the top edge (see photos). It looks like a previous owner masked this by coloring in those areas red. It's not too terribly noticeable, especially when the fixture is hanging, but we are mentioning it to be accurate. Next, the three wooden panels appear to be fin fine shape - there are a few small superficial scratch marks, but nothing major or that interferes with the display. The brass components show a nice patina that is consistent with age. We have not attempted to clean the item in any manner, but it could probably benefit from a gentle once over. The electrical wiring looks like it was replaced at one point in time for safety. The fixture is in working order with no issues to report.
