Vintage MCM Black Ceramic Boomerang Lamp Mid Century Modern Lighting Atomic 50s

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a nice vintage table lamp. Circa 50s / 60s. Materials: Ceramic, Brass, Metal. The lamp features a large boomerang-shaped ceramic accent piece at the bottom of the lamp - it rests atop a round brass metal base. Just below the light socket is another smaller saucer-shaped ceramic accent piece that reminds us of a UFO. The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch at the socket. We are uncertain as to the maker - there are no labels or tags present. No shade present - it'll be left up tot he purchaser to provide their own. It's a great lamp that is suitable for all interior settings!

MEASUREMENTS: The lamp stands approx. 29.75" tall (measured from the bottom of the round brass base to the top of the finial). The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 21.5" high. The black boomerang accent piece measures approx. 10.25" tall x 6.25" wide x 3.5" deep. The accent piece just below the light socket measures approx. 3" tall x 4" wide x 4" deep. The bottom of the rounded brass base at the bottom of the lamp measures approx. 6" in diameter.

CONDITION: Very good condition - the ceramic accent pieces are free from chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, scratches, etc. The brass at the bottom of the lamp shows some areas with faint discoloration (see photos) - nothing atypical given the lamps age, but being mentioned for accuracy. The electrical wiring looks good, and appears to be original to the lamp. We always recommend having the wiring inspected prior to long-term use, just to be safe. Being sold "as-is", "as-described".
