Vintage MCM MOE Fiberglass Pendant Swag Lamp Mid Century Lighting UFO Saucer 60s

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a rare vintage ufo / saucer-shaped fiberglass hanging light fixture that was manufactured by MOE Lighting. Circa '60s. The body of the fixture is constructed of fiberglass, and it is studded with small plastic pellets (see photos). The underside of the fixture contains a glass shield that unscrews, and this gives one access to the light socket where that bulb can be swapped out. The fixture takes one normal sized, standard lightbulb. The top of the fixture has a small walnut wood accent piece to cap it off. From above, this fixture reminds us of an everything bagel. The ceiling canopy still retains the original MOE sticker label (see photos). It's a great fixture - these don't come around too often anymore!

MEASUREMENTS: The fixture measures approx. 14" tall x 18" wide x 18" deep. The round opening on the underside of the fixture measures approx. 10" in diameter.

CONDITION: Very good condition - the fiberglass is free from chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, darkened areas, etc. The plastic pellets are in good shape - there are a few scattered here and there that are missing, but who's counting? The glass shield in the underside of the fixture is in great shape - no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The electrical wiring looks good with no issues to report - the fixture just needs to be hard-wired into place by a licensed electrician.
