ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a unique vintage table lamp with its original accompanying shade. Circa '50s. The body of the base is basically a cube mounted atop a wooden base at the bottom. It is covered in a hammered copper material. On three sides are raised ceramic plaques, each having the same abstract pattern on it (see photos). The shade is double-tiered, with the lower fiberglass portion being beige with gold and white applied designs on the surface, while the smaller upper tier is the same hammered copper material as is on the cube (again, see photos). The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch at the socket for functionality. We are not certain as to who actually manufactured the lamp - there are no tags or labels present. It's really a unique piece of lighting, and it is likely to spark conversation wherever it ends up!

MEASUREMENTS: With the shade attached, the lamp stands approx. 24.75" tall x 18" wide x 18" deep. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 17" high. The hammered copper cube measures 8" x 8" x 8". Each of the three ceramic tiles measures 4.25" x 4.25". The black wooden base at the bottom of the lamp measures approx. 9" x 9". The fiberglass shade measures approx. l1.75" tall, with the smaller upper copper tier measuring approx. 12" in diameter, and with the larger lower fiberglass tier measuring approx. 18" in diameter.

CONDITION: Very good, all-original condition. The base is free from breaks, cracks, repairs, etc. Just some mild surface wear that is commensurate with age. The ceramic tiles are free from cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The fiberglass shade has some areas where the lacing has broke (but not the holes in the fiberglass). It's still stable despite the few breaks, but it can easily be re-laced, if desired - we chose to leave it as it was acquired. The shade is free from rips, holes, tears, stains, repairs, burn marks, etc. We have not attempted to clean or polish the lamp or shade in any manner. The electrical wiring appears to be original to the lamp, and it is in good shape - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. As can be seen from the photos, the lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition. As is the case with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed profession inspect the wiring prior to long-term use, just to be safe.
