ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a sweet pair of vintage ceramic table lamps. Circa '50s. The ceramic has a ribbed appearance, and as one views the lamp from top to bottom, the ceramic gets wider (see photos). Colors: White, Black and Gold. Each lamp has a standard toggle switch at the socket. We are uncertain as to the maker - there are no labels or tags present. It will be left up to the purchaser to provide their own shades as there are none currently present. This is a great set of period lamps that will look nice in any interior setting.
MEASUREMENTS: Each lamp stands approx. 27.25" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the finial). The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 20" high. The ceramic base starts at about 2" wide at the top just below the socket, and it gradually gets to reach 6" as one approaches the bottom of the base. The diameter of the round base at the bottom of each lamp is approx. 6".
CONDITION: Both lamps are in very good vintage condition. The ceramic is free from chips, cracks, breaks, scratches, fading, repairs, etc. The brass separator between the bottom of the socket at the top of the ceramic shows tarnishing on each lamp (see photos). There are no issues to report with the electrical wiring - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. The lamps are fully functioning, and working as intended. As with all vintage lighting, we always suggest having a licensed professional inspect the wiring prior to long-term use, just to be safe. Being sold "as-is", and "as-described" - if you have questions, please message us and we'll respond back to you.
