ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a rare vintage atomic era tripod table lamp complete with its original fiberglass shades. Circa '50s. The base is brass, and is gold in color. The shades are beige in color with overlapping gold and off-white triangular patterns over the exterior surface. There is a rotary knob on/off switch located on the bottom brass portion of the base where the legs attach (see photos). We are uncertain as to the maker - no labels or tags remain present. Great lamp! - suitable for all interior settings!
MEASUREMENTS: With the shades attached to the base, the lamp measures approx. 29" tall (measured to the top of the uppermost shade) x 23" wide x 23" deep. Each of the fiberglass shades measure 11.5" tall x 6" in diameter. The distance between each of the tripod legs is approx. 11.5".
CONDITION: The lamp is in excellent condition for its age. The brass base is free from dents, dings, repairs, oxidation, rust, etc. The shades are in great shape with only minimal traces of surface wear - no rips, holes, tears, punctures, stains, burn marks, repairs, etc. The electrical wiring looks original with no issues to report - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. The lamp is in fully functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always suggest having a licensed professional inspect the wiring prior to long-term use, just to be safe. Being sold "as-is", and "as-described" - if you have questions, please message us and we'll respond back to you.
