Vintage MCM Abstract Ceramic Tile Wood Lamp Mid Century Modern Lighting 1960s

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage table lamp. Circa '60s. Materials: Ceramic Tiles, Wood. The tiles are encased in wood; they are orange, red and brown in color with an abstract appearance (see all photos). The lamp is double-sided (the ceramic tiling appears on both sides). The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch located at the socket. The lamp does not appear to be signed, nor are there any tags or labels present, but it is reminiscent of Harris Strong. No shade present - it'll be left up to the purchaser to provide their own. It's a great lamp that is suitable for all interior settings!

MEASUREMENTS: The lamp stands approx. 32" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the socket) x 9.25" wide (base) x 5.5" deep (base). The wooden framework surrounding the ceramic tiles measures approx. 25" tall x 5.5" wide x 2.5" deep).

CONDITION: With the exception of a shallow chip to the wood encasement that contains the tiles, the lamp is in very good condition. The chip in on the back side of the lamp that stems from the top right corner (see photos). It's barely noticeable, and can probably be fixed - we just left it in the condition acquired as it didn't bother us. It's on the back side, so even if you chose to leave it alone, it won't be visible to anyone looking at the lamp. The ceramic tiles are free from chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. - they appear very nice. The electrical wiring looks original with no issues to report - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. The lamp is in fully functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always suggest having a licensed professional inspect the wiring prior to long-term use, just to be safe.
