Vintage Geometric MCM Ceramic Lamp + Shade Mid Century Modern Lighting 1960s Tye?

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage table lamp with its original accompanying shade. Circa '60s. The lamp base is ceramic, and is a brownish color with which geometric shapes. Some of the shapes are colored in yellow, while others just take on the brownish color of the lamp body. The lamp comes with its cloth shade, which has a plastic-like interior lining. The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch that is located at the socket. We are uncertain as to the maker, but based on the speckled finish to the ceramic, it reminds us of the ceramic lamps that were produced by Tye of California. Those lamps almost always appear to be signed, but this particular lamp is not, so we're only going to attribute it based on the similar style. It's a great lamp that is suitable for all interior settings!

MEASUREMENTS: With the shade attached, the lamp stands approx. 41" tall. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is 28" high. The ceramic body of the lamp is approx. 23" tall x 5.75" wide x 5.75" deep. The cloth shade is approx. 18" tall x 14" in diameter (top opening) x 16" in diameter (bottom opening). The round wooden base at the bottom of the lamp is approx. 7.5" in diameter.

CONDITION: Very good condition. The ceramic is free from chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, scratches, etc. There seems to be a tiny amount of yellow coloration peeking out from beneath the yellow areas - we are not certain if these yellow areas may have been repainted this color by a previous owner or not, but we think it may have. It can probably be removed, or just left alone - we love its appearance as it currently is. The shade is in fine shape with only a little trace of wear to the plastic-type lining on the inside - no breaks, repairs, stains, etc. The electrical wiring looks original with no issues to report - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. The lamp is in fully functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always suggest having a licensed professional inspect the wiring prior to long-term use, just to be safe. NOTE: Due to its size and fragile nature, this item will have to ship in two separate boxes - one will contain the base, while the other will contain the shade. If you do not wish for the shade, it will cut down on the cost of shipping considerably - just let us know at check-out.
