ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale one rare, bad a** thick lava glaze ceramic table lamp. Circa '60s. The ceramic portion of the lamp is cradled within a walnut finger base (see photos). Colors: Turquoise, Green, White. The ceramic portion of the base is highly textured. The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch that is located at the socket for functionality. We are not 100% certain on the maker, but we've seen these lamps attributed to the Sunset Lamp Co. The lamp does not come with a shade - it'll be left up to the buyer to supply their own.
MEASUREMENTS: The lamp stands approx. 37" tall x 12" wide x 12" deep. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 29" high. The round walnut wood base at the bottom of the lamp is approx. 8" in diameter.
CONDITION: The lamp is in excellent, all-original condition - there are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. to the ceramic. The wood also appears to be issue-free - no chips, cracks, scratches, breaks, repairs, etc. The electrical wiring appears to be original to the lamp, and it is in great shape - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. As can be seen from the photos, the lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition. As is the case with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed professional inspect the wiring prior to long-term use, just to be safe.
