ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an awesome vintage figural boxers / boxing oil painting done on stretched canvas. Framed in a thick black colored wooden frame. We were told by the previous owners that it was done back in the 50s, but there is no date or signature on this piece. There is a wire hanging mechanism on the back for hanging / display purposes.
MEASUREMENTS: Including the frame, approx. 24.75" tall x 20.5" wide. The visible artwork, excluding the wooden frame, is approx. 19.5" tall x 15.5" wide.
CONDITION: The painting is in good, but not perfect, condition. There are three tiny pin hole sized punctures on the canvas (see last photo - we've illuminated the painting from behind in the photo to show exactly where they are located). They are completely stable, and don't appear to be at risk of getting larger. Aside from that, the canvas could probably benefit from a gentle cleaning, but it does display nicely as it is in its current state. The wood frame shows some scuffs, dings and light color loss, but is structurally stable and presentable. We will gladly "reserve" or "hold" an item, but it will require a 25% non-refundable down payment. Balance due will be spread out over installment payments, one being due two weeks after the initial down-payment, and the final payment (which will include the listed shipping expenses) will be due two weeks after that.
