ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an incredible set of vintage airbrushed ballet paintings on artist board, each contained within their original forced perspective wooden frames. Circa '50s. While we cannot clearly decipher the signature, they are both signed by the artist in the lower right-hand corner of the painting (see photos). They are done in a style similar to Carlo of Hollywood.
MEASUREMENTS: Including the frames, each measures approx. 18" tall (long side) x 16" tall (short side) x 14" wide. The visible artwork, excluding the wooden frame, is approx. 13.5" tall x 10.5" wide.
CONDITION: Both paintings appear to be in very good condition - no rips, holes, tears, bends, creases, breaks, etc. The frames show general light wear as can be expected from age and handling - there are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. They are structurally stable, and display well. We have not attempted to clean or polish them in any manner - they are being presented for sale in the condition in which they were acquired. The brown paper lining on the backs of both are a bit tattered and should be replaced. They currently have string draped across the back for hanging - we'd recommend replacing this with actual hanging wire. Being sold "as-is" - if you have any questions that weren't addressed, feel free to message us, and we'll be happy to respond back to you in a timely manner.
