ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage abstract mixed media oil painting on stretched canvas by artist, Anita Phillips. Circa '60s / '70s. Colors: Multi-color (the colors are really nice on this one). The painting is encased in a simple chrome frame, and there is a wire hanging mechanism attached to the reverse side of the frame. There is what appears to be gauze attached to the canvas in areas to give the painting some subtle texture (see photos). It is simply signed "Anita" in the lower right-hand corner of the canvas, and here full name appears written in ink along the stretcher on the back side (see photos).
MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 25" tall x 31" wide.
CONDITION: Very good condition. The canvas is free from rips, holes, tears, repairs, etc. It could possibly benefit from a gentle cleaning, but we just left it alone as we felt it displays nicely as it is in its current state. The chrome frame shows signs of wear in the form of scattered scratches and shallow dings. Balance due will be spread out over installment payments, one being due two weeks after the initial down-payment, and the final payment (which will include the listed shipping expenses) will be due two weeks after that.
