ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an amazing vintage oil painting done on artist board. Circa '60s. Theme: Birds done in a Mondian-style. Colors: Multi-color. The painting shows nice texture throughout. While we cannot clearly make out the signature, the painting is signed with what looks like the artist's initials, and it is dated 1963 (see photos). The painting is framed within a vintage wooden frame, and there is a wire hanging mechanism affixed to the back side for hanging / display purposes.
MEASUREMENTS: Including the frame, approx. 28" high x 22" wide. The painting itself, excluding the wooden frame, measures approx. 23.5" high x 17.5" wide.
CONDITION: Very good condition. The canvas board is free from rips, holes, tears, repairs, etc. It could possibly benefit from a gentle cleaning, but we just left it alone as we felt it displays nicely as it is in its current state. The wooden frame shows signs of light wear that is consistent with age and handling - it is structurally solid, and displays nicely. We will gladly "reserve" or "hold" an item, but it will require a 25% non-refundable down payment. Balance due will be spread out over installment payments, one being due two weeks after the initial down-payment, and the final payment (which will include the listed shipping expenses) will be due two weeks after that.
