Vintage MCM Beige Ceramic Brass Lamp Atomic Era Mid Century Modern Lighting 50s

$175.00

Shipping to United States: $30.00

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage atomic era table lamp. Circa '50s. Colors: Beige. Materials: Ceramic, Brass (metal). The ceramic portion of the base shows subtle texture. The top of the ceramic body are a series of eight (8) metal spoke-like projections that splay outward (see photos). The lamp has an on/off rotary knob switch located at the socket. There are no labels or tags present - we are uncertain as to the maker. It will be left up to the purchaser to provide their own shade as there isn't one currently present.

MEASUREMENTS: The lamp stands approx. 31" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the finial) x 5.75" wide x 5.75" deep. The socket is at a height of approx. 22.5". The ceramic lamp body measures approx. 16" tall x 5.75" wide x 5.75" deep. The brass metal base at the bottom of the lamp measures approx. 5.75" in diameter. Each of the eight metal projection spokes is approx. 3.5" long.

CONDITION: The lamp is in very good condition - there are no scratches, chips, breaks, repairs, etc. There a few tiny specks of color loss to the ceramic (see photos), but nothing terribly significant - we are solely mentioning it for accuracy - they can easily be touched up or just left alone. The wiring is in good shape - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed professional inspect the wiring prior to long-term use. Being sold "as-is", and "as-described" - please ask any questions that you may have, and we will respond back to you in timely manner.
