Vintage MCM Black Acrylic Plastic Brass Lamp Mid Century Modern Lighting 1950s

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage atomic era table lamp. Circa '50s / '60s. Materials: Acrylic / Plastic / Brass / Metal. Colors: Black, Gold. The lamp body features a series of four (4) thin black acrylic bars that are set at varying heights, each intersecting the two vertical brass upright rods (see photos). These bars are set at a slight downward diagonal positioning. The rounded rectangular base at the bottom of the lamp is also constructed of the same material. The lamp features a standard on/off rotary knob switch at the socket. We are uncertain as to the maker - there are no labels present. The lamp does not come with a shade - it'll be up to the purchaser to provide their own shade.

MEASUREMENTS: The lamp stands approx. 31.25" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the finial) x 11.25" wide x 5.5" deep. The socket is at a height of approx. 23.25". Each of the four bars measures approx. 6" wide x 2" deep.

CONDITION: Very good condition - there are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The base at the bottom has some light superficial scratch marks - nothing major, but being mentioned for accuracy (see photos). The electrical wiring is in good shape with no issues to report. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having a licensed professional inspect the wiring prior to long-term use.
