ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage double-tiered fiberglass lamp shade. Circa '50s. Materials: Fiberglass, Metal. Color: Beige with thin overlapping black and white paint splatter applied to the exterior surface of the fiberglass (gives off a silvery appearance, in our opinion). Uncertain as to the maker as the shade is unbranded.
MEASUREMENTS: The shade measures approx. 8.5 tall, with the smaller, upper tier measuring approx. 11" in diameter, and the larger, lower tier measuring approx. 14" in diameter.
CONDITION: The shade is in decent condition, but it is not perfect. The fiberglass shows a uniform discoloration off to one side of the shade (see photos) - we have not attempted to clean it in any manner, so we're uncertain as to whether or not it will come out. It can mostly be turned to face the back side of the shade. The fiberglass is free from rips, holes, tears, creases, etc. The lacing appears to be original. There are a few separations in it, but the shade is still structurally intact. The lacing holes have not been compromised, so the shade can be re-laced somewhere down the road should you decide to update it. We will gladly "reserve" or "hold" an item, but it will require a 25% non-refundable down payment. Balance due will be spread out over installment payments, one being due two weeks after the initial down-payment, and the final payment (which will include the listed shipping expenses) will be due two weeks after that.
