Vintage MCM Pink Ceramic Brass Miller Lamps Mid Century Modern Lighting Atomic 50s

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a pair of vintage table lamps that were manufactured by C. Miller. Circa '50s. Materials: Ceramic, Brass, Metal. Colors: Pink, Gold accents. Both lamps have a standard on/off rotary knob switch located at the socket. The lamps are also signed and dated in the ceramic along the lower edge at the back side: © C. Miller, 1955 (see photos). No shades accompany the lamps - it'll be left up to the purchaser to provide their own. It's a great set of lamps that are suitable for any interior setting.

MEASUREMENTS: Each lamp stands approx. 28.25" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the finial) x 6" wide x 6" deep. The height of the socket from the bottom of the base is approx. 21.25" high. The ceramic portion of the base measures approx. 11" high x 6" wide x 6" deep. The six brass accent pieces just below the socket are approx. 5" long each. The brass base measures approx. 6" in diameter.

CONDITION: Both lamps are in good vintage condition. One of the lamps has a small stable hairline crack and finish flake on the back side of the neck (see photo). There is some gold accent color loss in areas along the base (see photos), but nothing that'd we'd deem drastic or that interferes with their appearance; this color loss is fairly common in these lamps. The brass bases shows some surface tarnishing. We have not attempted to clean or polish the lamps - they are being presented for sale in the condition in which they were acquired. The electric wiring looks to be original, and is in good shape - no frays, splits, etc. One of the plug tips needs to be replaced as a piece surrounding the wires has chipped off. The lamps are in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having a licensed professional inspect the wiring prior to long-term use.
