Vintage 1970s Cork Wood Table Lamp Modern Lighting Nubby Textured Cloth Shade

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage cork and wood table lamp. Circa '70s. Materials: Cork, Wood, Nubby Textile Shade. The cork portion of the base is sandwiched between a wooden neck just above it, and a round wooden base beneath it. The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch for functionality located at the socket. The socket has a yellow UL label attached to it, but no mention of the manufacturer on it. This lamp is suitable for all interior settings!

MEASUREMENTS: With the shade attached, the lamp stands approx. 26" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top edge of the shade) x 10.75" wide (bottom diameter of shade) x 10.75" in depth (bottom diameter of shade). The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 17" high. The cork portion of the base, excluding the wooden neck just above it and the round wooden base beneath it, measures approx. 7.75" tall x 5" wide x 5" deep. The round wooden base at the very bottom of the lamp measures approx. 4.5" in diameter. The nubby textile shade measures approx. 12" tall x 8.75" in diameter (top opening) x 10.75" in diameter (bottom opening).

CONDITION: Very good condition. The cork and wood components are free from having any issues - no chunks missing, falling apart, scratched, repaired, etc. The inside plastic lining of the shade has a few cracks in it - they don't affect anything, and they're on the inside, so they are not seen unless one is looking at the inside of the shade. Aside from that, the shade is in great shape - no stains, rips, holes, tears, odors, repairs, etc. The electric wiring, as well as the hardware, all appear to be original, and it's in good shape - no frays, splits, brittle or exposed wires, etc. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having a licensed professional inspect the wiring prior to long-term use.
