Vintage MCM Black White Ceramic Lamp Atomic Era Mid Century Modern Lighting 50s

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a great vintage atomic era table lamp. Circa '50s. Materials: Ceramic, Brass, Metal. Colors: Black, White. The ceramic is white with a black paint drizzle application over the surface (see photos). The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch located at the socket for functionality. The lamp does not appear to be signed, nor are there any labels visibly present, so we are uncertain as to the manufacturer. Purchaser provides their own shade - there isn't one currently present.

MEASUREMENTS: The lamp measures approx. 19.5" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the light socket) x 5.5" wide (round orb) x 5.5" deep (again, round orb). The scalloped designed base at the very bottom of the lamp is approx. 5" wide x 5" deep.

CONDITION: Very good condition. The ceramic is free from chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, fading, etc. The brass components show some darkening / tarnishing as can be expected from age - we have not attempted to clean or polish the lamp in any manner. The electrical wiring has been replaced, so there are no issues to report - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. The lamp is in fully functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always suggest having a licensed professional inspect the wiring prior to long-term use, just to be safe.
