Vintage MCM James Mont Brass Wood Lamp Mid Century Modern Lighting 1960s Asian Hollywood Regency Boho

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage asian-themed / Hollywood regency table lamp that is attributed to James Mont in design. Circa '60s. Materials: Brass, Metal, Wood. The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch that is located at the socket for functionality. No labels or tags present. It'll be left up to the purchaser to provide their own lamp shade. It's a great looking lamp that is suitable for all interior settings.

MEASUREMENTS: The lamp stands approx. 39.25" tall x 6.25" wide (measured at the base) x 6.25" deep (measured at the base). The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 29.25" high. The decorative brass portion of the lamp is approx. 20.25" tall x 5.25" wide. The black wooden base measures approx. 6.25" wide x 6.25" deep.

CONDITION: Good vintage condition. There is a superficial scratch to the brass portion of the base, as well as a small scratch to the beige metal cylinder that rests between the socket at the brass base (see photos). Neither particularly interferes with the display of the lamp, but we are mentioning them for accuracy. We have not attempted to clean / polish the lamp in any manner. The electrical wiring looks to be original to the lamp, and it is free from having any issues - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. As with all vintage lighting, we always suggest having a licensed professional inspect the wiring prior to long-term use, just to be safe.
