Vintage MCM Black Iron Lamp Chartreuse Fiberglass Shade Mid Century Lighting 50s

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage atomic era table lamp with accompanying fiberglass shade. Circa '50s. Materials: Iron, Fiberglass. The framework of the base is a black painted iron, and the fiberglass shade is chartreuse in color with an applied black paint swirl design on the exterior surface. The lamp has a standard on/off toggle switch that is located at the socket for functionality. We are uncertain as to the maker / designer of this lamp - there are no labels or tags present. It's a great lamp that will look fantastic in any interior setting.

MEASUREMENTS: With the shade attached, the lamp stands approx. 33" tall x 15" wide x 10" deep. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 20.75" high. The black metal portion of the base is approx. 14.5" tall x 7.5" wide x 7.5" deep. The fiberglass shade alone measures approx. 15" tall, with the top opening measuring 6" wide x 5.5" deep, and the bottom opening measuring 15" wide x 10" deep.

CONDITION: Good vintage condition. The black iron base is free from breaks, dents, dings, repairs, etc. There is scattered black color loss on the metal - it can easily be touched up, or just left alone. The fiberglass shade shows some minor gentle creases along the seam and edge, but nothing bad at all (see photos). There is also a small random dark line on one of the side panels - looks like it most likely got there when the swirly black paint was applied to the shade - we have not attempted to clean it any manner. The electrical wiring looks to be original to the lamp, and it is free from having any issues - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. As with all vintage lighting, we always suggest having a licensed professional inspect the wiring prior to long-term use, just to be safe.
