ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage light fixture that was manufactured by LIGHTCRAFT of California. Circa '60s. Materials: Glass, Metal, Wood. Colors: White. This was originally a ceiling light fixture that a previous owner decided to make into a table lamp my simply attaching it to a wooden base, and adding an electrical plug to it for a regular wall socket. It can very easily be converted back, if one desires - we just left it alone as it is perfectly functional the way it is. The lamp has two sockets, and takes two standard sized light bulbs. The metal ring used to secure the glass shade into place is marked Lightcraft of California, and it is dated 1966 (see photos). It's simply great, and will make a welcome addition to any interior setting!
MEASUREMENTS: The lamp itself (excluding the wooden base that it is mounted to) measures approx. 10" tall x 11" wide x 11" deep. The wood base measures approx. 8" wide x 8" deep x 2" tall.
CONDITION: Overall the lamp / fixture is in very good condition. The glass is free from having chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. There are a few minor blemishes here and there that may come out with a cleaning - we didn't bother to clean the fixture as we feel it displays nice enough in its current state. The metal base shows some signs of color loss, but nothing drastic; there are no dents, rust, oxidation, repairs, etc. The electrical wiring is in great shape, and is free from having any issues - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. As with all vintage lighting, we always suggest having a licensed professional inspect the wiring prior to long-term use, just to be safe. Being sold "as-is", and "as-described" - if you have questions, please message us and we'll respond back to you.
