Vintage Post Modern White Faux Ostrich Vinyl Floor Lamp Lighting 70s 80s Chapman

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage post-modern floor lamp designed by Chapman. Circa '70s / '80s. Materials: Faux Ostrich Vinyl, Chrome Metal. The lamp is quite simple - the base is covered in the faux vinyl material, as well as the square base at the bottom. The base at the bottom also has chrome metal incorporated into the design (see photos). The lamp has two sockets, each with its own metal pull-down on/off chain. The blue UL / Chapman label is still adhered to the lamp between the sockets. Currently there is no shade - it'll be left up to the purchaser to provide their own. It's a wonderful lamp that'll fit well within any interior setting.

MEASUREMENTS: The lamp stands approx. 52.25" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the metal rod that holds a finial). The white cylindrical portion of the lamp measures approx. 46.25" tall x 1.75" in diameter. The square base at the bottom of the lamp measures approx. 7.25" wide x 7.25" deep.

CONDITION: Good condition. The faux ostrich material is free from having rips, tears, repairs, damage, etc. It could benefit from a gentle cleaning, but it does display well in its current state. The chrome metal in the base is free from dents, dings, rust, oxidation, etc. The metal rod that extends out from the top of the lamp for a shade needs to be straightened a little - an easy fix that we'll leave up to the purchaser. The electrical wiring is in great shape, and is free from having any issues - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. As with all vintage lighting, we always suggest having a licensed professional inspect the wiring prior to long-term use, just to be safe.
