Vintage MCM Atomic Black Metal Cone Floor Lamp Mid Century Modern Lighting 1950s

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage atomic era bullet / cone floor lamp. Circa '50s. Materials: Metal, Brass. Color: Black. The lamp features three (3) fully adjustable conical shaped shades which are attached to a central vertical pole. The lamp is designed in such a way that the shades pivot and adjust at their attachment points, thus giving the lamp many different possible configurations to suit your desired needs. Each conical shade has an on/off rotary knob switch that is located on the top portion of each shade (see photos). We are uncertain as to the actual manufacturer of this lamp - there are no labels or tags present.

MEASUREMENTS: With the three conical shades all pivoted in the downward direction, the lamp stands approx. 65" tall x 14" wide x 14" deep. The tops of each of the shades are at the following heights from the round metal base at the bottom of the lamp: uppermost - 61", middle - 52.5", and lowest - 44". Each of the three shades, including the on/off rotary knob switches, is approx. 8" tall x 5" in diameter (opening). The round metal base at the very bottom of the lamp is approx. 10.75" in diameter.

CONDITION: Overall the lamp is in good condition. There is some scattered spotting throughout (see photos), as well as some spotting on the insides of the shades (again, see photos). There are no dents, dings, repairs, etc. The round base at the bottom of the lamp also shows some color loss and minor superficial surface rust in spots - not bad, but being mentioned for accuracy (see photos). The lamp shades all hold their positions well - there's nothing broken or loose. The electrical wiring is in good shape, and is free from having any issues - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. This floor lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always suggest having a licensed professional inspect the wiring prior to long-term use, just to be safe. NOTE: This lamp will be partially disassembled at the central vertical column to make shipping more compact and economical. All that'll need to be done is to just reconnect the top and bottom portions - very simple.
