ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an incredible vintage table lamp. Circa '60s. The lamp consists of three spun acrylic spaghetti shades that are attached to the lamp base at slightly varying heights. All three of the shades are the same orangish color (see photos). The shades are attached to brass metal rods that are attached to a central brass cylinder. Between each of the shades are wooden accents pieces, and there is a pointed wooden finial at the very top. The round base at the bottom of the lamp is primarily the same wood, and there is a slightly smaller, thin brass disc the rests on top of it. The lamp has an on/off rotary knob switch that is located towards the bottom of the central brass cylinder, and it provides for three-way functionality of the lamp: one twist lights up two shades, a second twist lights up the third shade independently of the first two, and a third twist lights them all up at once. The lamp does not appear to have any labels, and we are uncertain as to the manufacturer. It's truly a statement piece, and is suitable for all interior settings.
MEASUREMENTS: With the three shades attached, the lamp stands approx. 33.5" tall x 21" wide x 21" deep. The shades are set at slightly staggered heights, with the distance to the top of the highest shade being approx. 33.5" high, the middle shade 31" high, and the lowest shade 24.5" high. Each of the three acrylic shades is approx. 8" round. The wooden base at the very bottom of the lamp is approx. 7" in diameter. The three wooden accent pieces that separate the shades are all approx. 20" tall.
CONDITION: Overall, the lamp is in very good, all-original condition. The wood accents are free from chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. - they display nicely. The shades are in great shape as well - no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, melted areas, burn marks, etc. The brass components shows some spotty signs of scattered tarnishing, but nothing that you wouldn't expect from a lamp of its age. There is no rust or oxidation present. The electrical wiring is in great shape, and is free from having any issues - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires, and the lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always suggest having a licensed professional inspect the wiring prior to long-term use, just to be safe. Being sold "as-is", and "as-described" - if you have questions, please message us and we'll respond back to you.
PLEASE NOTE: This lamp is large and fragile. It will ship in two separate parcels - one will contain the base, while the other will contain the three acrylic shades.
