ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a great pair of sturdy vintage table lamps manufactured by FAIP (Fine Arts in Plastic) out of Brooklyn, NY. Circa '60s. Materials: Chalkware, Wood (Walnut). Colors: Gold, Beige, Tan Brown, Mustard Yellow and Orange. The surfaces of both lamps are textured, with the abstract shapes being slightly raised from the rest of the lamp surface (see photos). Both lamps has standard on/off rotary knob switches that are located at the socket for functionality. The lamps are also both signed FAIP on the back close to where the electrical cords exit the lamp bodies. There are no shades present - it'll be left up to the purchaser to provide their own. They're a stunning pair of lamps that'll look great in any interior setting.
MEASUREMENTS: Each lamps stands approx. 33" tall x 7" wide x 7" deep. The distance from the resting surface to the light socket is approx. 24" high. The chalkware portion of the lamp, not including the walnut neck and round walnut base, measures approx. 14" tall x 7" wide x 7" deep. The round walnut base at the bottom of the lamp is approx. 6" in diameter.
CONDITION: With the exception of some minor scattered color loss in spots (zoom in on the photos), the lamps are both in very good condition - no chips, cracks, breaks, missing chunks of chalkware, etc. The wooden walnut accents are in great shape as well - no scratches, cracks, breaks, etc. The electrical wiring looks to be original to the lamps - there are no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. Both lamps are in fully-functioning, working condition. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having a licensed professional inspect before long-term use.
