Vintage Wood Ratchet Brass STIFFEL Floor Lamp Adjustable Modern Lighting 70s

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage adjustable floor lamp manufactured by Stiffel. Circa '70s. Materials: Brass, Wood, Metal. The height of this lamp is fully adjustable, and that's what makes it unique. The vertical wooden bar is stepped, so one can take an adjust that height accordingly. The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch located at the socket for functionality. The lamp still retains a good portion of its original Stiffel label near the socket (see photos). The round brass base is also weighted from the underside, thus making it quite sturdy and preventable from getting knocked over. The lamp base does not come with a shade - it'll be left up to the purchaser to provide their own. It's a great lamp that is suitable for all interior settings.

MEASUREMENTS: At its full height, the lamp stands approx. 57" tall. The lowest height that the lamp stands is approx. 42" tall. The round brass base at the bottom of the lamp is approx. 9.5" in diameter.

CONDITION: Very good condition. The lamp is free from chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, rust, oxidation, etc. The wood could use some stain along the edges, but leaving it as it is in its current state is totally fine too. The electrical wiring looks to be original to the lamp, and there are no problems with it that we can detect. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having the wiring inspected by a licensed professional prior to long-term use. Being sold "as-is", and "as-described".
