ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage framed embroidered / crewel art wall hanging. Circa '70s. Theme: Abstract / Figural. The work is done with different color and sized yarn over burlap. It is framed behind glass in a nice vintage period wooden frame. There are four mounting brackets on the back side of the frame, so you can choose whichever orientation you'd like to display this piece. No signatures are visible. We have not taken the frame apart to investigate any further.
MEASUREMENTS: Including the frame, this piece measures approx. 17.75" wide x 14.25" tall. The burlap, excluding the frame and border matting, measures approx. 13" wide x 9.25" tall.
CONDITION: Excellent condition with no problems to report - no chips, cracks, breaks, stains, repairs, etc. The paper lining on the back side of the frame has some tears in it - it can easily and inexpensively be replaced, or just left alone. Displays well, and is ready to be enjoyed in a new home.
