Vintage MCM Walnut Wood Brass Metal Lamp Mid Century Modern Lighting 1960s

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage table lamp. Circa '60s. Materials: Brass, Metal, Wood (Walnut). The wood portion of the lamp is very interesting in that it is square in shape at the top, and as it progresses downward, it tapers and becomes rounded (see photos). The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch located at the socket for functionality. We are uncertain who manufactured the lamp, but it is of nice quality. There is no shade present - it'll be left up to the purchaser to provide their own.

MEASUREMENTS: The lamp stands approx. 30.5" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the finial) x 7.25" wide (at the base) x 7.25" deep (at the base). The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 21.5" high. The wood portion of the base measures approx. 14.5" tall. The round brass metal base at the bottom of the lamp measures approx. 7.25" in diameter.

CONDITION: Overall the lamp is in very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, dents, dings, etc. There are a few light, superficial scratch marks on the round brass base at the bottom of the lamp (see photos) - nothing objectionable, but being mentioned for accuracy. The electrical wiring appears to be original to the lamp, and it is free from having any issues - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. Everything is in working order as can be seen from the photos. As is the case with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed professional inspect the wiring prior to long-term use, just to be safe.
