ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a wonderful vintage table lamp that dates back to the '60s. Materials: Ceramic, Wood (Walnut). Colors: Black, White, Brown. The ceramic porition of the base is subtly textured throughout (see photos). It is sandwiched in-between a walnut wood neck and base. The lamp operates by a standard on/off rotary knob switch that is located at the socket. We are uncertain as to the designer / manufacturer - there are no labels visibly present. Purchaser to provide their own shade as there currently isn't one. It's a great lamp that is suitable for all interior settings.
MEASUREMENTS: The lamp measures approx. 39.75" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the finial) x 8" wide (at the base) x 8" deep (again, at the base). The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 32.5" high. Just the ceramic portion of the base alone measures 14" tall x 4.5" wide x 4.5" deep. The round wooden base at the very bottom of the lamp measures approx. 8" in diameter.
CONDITION: There is one old repair to the ceramic on the back side of the lamp (see photos). At first we didn't even notice it. Looks to have been carefully done, but can probably be gone over to make it look a little better. It's on the back side, so if one chooses to leave it as it is, it isn't noticed. Aside from that, the lamp is in otherwise great shape with no issues to report. The electrical wiring appears to be original to the lamp, and it is in nice shape - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As is the case with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having a licensed professional inspect the wiring prior to long-term use, just to be safe.
