ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an original vintage pom-pom / sea urchin sculptural wall hanging designed by Curtis Jeré. Circa '70s. Materials: Metal, Brass. This piece features five (5) metal poms, all in varying sizes and depths. They are each constructed of multiple thin metal rods. There are rounded hoops welded onto the back side for hanging / display purposes. The signature is worn off, as is the case with many of these sculptures since they were signed in a black ink, but it is definitely a Jeré piece. It came from an estate with various other pieces that were created by him.
MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 42" wide x 28" tall x 8.5" deep (maximum depth).
CONDITION: Overall, the wall hanging is in very good condition. There are no breaks, repairs, etc. A few of the wire rods are ever so slightly out of position, but can easily be worked back into place as they are pliable. The back side of a few of the urchins show some minimal traces of surface rust. They can easily be cleaned off with some fine steel wool. They are rather minor, but are being mentioned for accuracy. They do not translate over to the front surface of the sculpture. We will gladly "reserve" or "hold" an item, but it will require a 25% non-refundable down payment. Balance due will be spread out over installment payments, one being due two weeks after the initial down-payment, and the final payment (which will include the listed shipping expenses) will be due two weeks after that.
