Vintage MCM Atomic Chalkware Metal Lamp 1950s Mid Century Modern Lighting AS-IS

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage atomic era chalkware table lamp. Circa '50s. Materials: Chalkware, Brass. The lamp body is a beige color with random black specks throughout. There is some turquoise accent paint in there as well. The surface is textured (see photos). The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch located at the socket for functionality. We are uncertain as to the maker - there are no labels or tags attached. This lamp does not come with a shade; it will be left up to the purchaser to provide their own. Being sold "as-is".

MEASUREMENTS: The lamps stands approx. 28" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the finial) x 6.5" wide (measured at the base) x 6.5" deep (again, measured at the base). The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 21" high.

CONDITION: The lamp is in okay condition, but does have cosmetic flaws which will mention here. First off, there are a few cracks in the chalkware material (see photos). They are completely stable, but they are there. Most likely this can be restored quite easily with a little filler and some paint - we just left them alone. There is a small chip in the chalkware adjacent to one of the cracks (again, see photo). The brass base at the bottom of the lamp shows some mild discoloration / tarnishing, and there are a few stray paint marks on it. The wiring appears to be original and there are no issues - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly urge having the wiring inspected by a licensed professional prior to long-term use.
