ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a pair of vintage zig-zag table lamps designed by Howard Kron. Circa '50s. Materials: Ceramic. Colors: Black, Gold. Each lamp has an on/off toggle switch located at the socket. No signatures or maker's marks present, but undoubtedly Kron. These lamps currently do not have shades - it will be left up to the purchaser to provide their own.
MEASUREMENTS: Each lamp measures approx. 25.5" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the finial). The distance from the bottom of the base to the light sockets is approx. 16" high. The ceramic base itself measures approx. 13.75" tall x 7" wide x 5" deep.
CONDITION: Both lamps are in good condition. One lamp has a tight and stable hairline crack towards the bottom side of the lamp (see photo) - it's barely noticeable unless one is looking for it. The same lamp also has one side of the on/off toggle switch missing its outer layer (again, see photos) - it doesn't seem to affect anything, and is solely being mentioned for accuracy. Aside from that, the lamps are free from chips, breaks, repairs, etc. There is a small amount of color loss as is typical with these lamps, but nothing that we'd deem objectionable given their age. Both lamps are in fully-functioning, working order, and they've been well cared for by their previous owners. The wiring looks to be original to the lamps, and it's in nice shape - there are no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having a licensed professional inspect before long-term use. Being sold "as-is", and "as-described". Please ask any questions that you may have prior to purchasing, and we will respond back to you in a timely manner.
