ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an amazing vintage table lamp. Circa '60s. The pottery base is a beige / earthtone / brown color with a fat lava drip glaze on the surface. It is cradled within a walnut wooden base that has four upright bars that rest around it. The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch. There is still a good portion of the original UL label attached to the metal socket cup (see photos). We are uncertain as to the maker of the lamp as there are no other labels / tags visibly present. It will be left up to the purchaser to provide their own shade is there isn't one currently present.
MEASUREMENTS: The lamp stands approx. 33.75" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the finial) x 9.25" wide x 9.25" deep. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 26" high. The pottery portion of the lamp alone is approx. 20" tall x 9.25" wide x 9.25" deep. The walnut wood portion of the base measures approx. 12.75" (each of the four upright supports) x 7.25" wide (measured between the legs) x 7.25" deep (again, measured between the legs).
CONDITION: Very good condition. Minor light surface wear from age and handling, but nothing objectionable whatsoever. We have not attempted to clean or polish the lamp in any manner - it is being presented for sale in the exact condition in which it was acquired (see photos). There are no chips, cracks, breaks, scratches, repairs, etc. to either the pottery or the wood. The wiring looks to be original to the lamp, and it's in nice shape - there are no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having a licensed professional inspect before long-term use. Being sold "as-is", and "as-described". Please ask any questions that you may have prior to purchasing, and we will respond back to you in a timely manner.
