Vintage 1960s Red Plush Deer Fawn Children's Lamp Mid Century Kitsch Lighting

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage children's lamp complete with its original shade. Circa '60s. Theme: Red Plush Spotted Dear. The deer is mounted atop a white plastic pill-shaped base (see photos). The shade is constructed of a cardboard material - it is beige in color with red polka-dots even placed throughout. The shade is of the clip-on variety - it attached directly to the lightbulb being used. The lamp has a standard on/off toggle switch that is located at the socket. The outer brass cup of the light socket still retains its original UL label (see photo). We are uncertain as to the maker of the lamp - there are no other labels or tags present indicating such info.

MEASUREMENTS: With the shade attached, the lamp stands approx. 14.75" tall x 8" wide x 8" deep. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 10.5" tall. The plush deer along stands approx. 7" tall x 6.5" wide x 2.25" deep. The white plastic base that the deer rests on is approx. 7.75" wide x 4.75" deep. The shade alone stands approx. 6.5" tall x 7" in diameter (top opening) x 8" in diameter (bottom opening).

CONDITION: Good vintage condition. There is some faint spotting on the shade, as well as some light fading (see photos). There are no breaks, bends, chips, cracks, repairs, etc. The lamp could possibly benefit from a gentle cleaning - we just left it as it was acquired as we feel it displays nicely in its current state. The electrical wiring appears to be original, and it is problem-free. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. Being sold "as-is", and "as-described".
