Fantastic Vintage 1950s Majestic Lamps Green Fiberglass Brass Wood Mid Century Modern Rare

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a beautiful and rare set of vintage table lamps from the 1950s. We believe the lamps are manufactured by Majestic, as they do have the characteristic green felt attached to the undersides of the bases. There are probably labels under the felt, but we just left it alone as it is intact on both lamps. Each lamps features a huge green fiberglass shade with black criss-cross patterns running throughout. On both sides of the lamps are hollow brass rods that are designed to look like they are piercing right through the shades. They actually screw in individually from the insides of the shades (see photos). The lamps each have a push button switch that is located on the top surface of the round black wooden bases. The lamps are simply sleek and stylish, and they'll make a welcome addition to any interior setting!

MEASUREMENTS: With the shades attached, the lamps each stand approx. 24.5" tall x 17" wide (shade plus the protruding brass rods that come out of either shade of the shades) x 8" in diameter. The shade itself measures approx. 20.5" tall x 8" in diameter. The round wooden base at the bottom of each lamp measures approx. 8" in diameter.

CONDITION: Both lamps are in great shape - the fiberglass is free from rips, holes, tears, stains, punctures, burn marks, repairs, etc. The lacing appears to be original, and is intact. The brass tubes that intersect the lamps are all in great shape as well - no rust, pitting, oxidation, etc. The round wooden bases have a few scratches (see photos), but nothing that we'd deem objectionable, given their age. The electrical wiring looks to be in nice shape - there are no splits, frays, exposed or brittle areas. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having the wiring inspected by a licensed professional prior to long-term use. Being sold "as-is", and "as-described".
