Vintage MCM Boomerang Lamp Mid Century Modern 1950s Atomic Era Plaster Crescents

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an incredible vintage table lamp from the 1950s. It features a series of alternating beige and taupe crescent / boomerang shapes (see photos). Colors: Beige, Taupe. The paint is all original on this lamp. The lamp has an on/off rotary knob switch that is located at the socket for functionality. There are no signatures present that we've been able to detect, but it does remind us of lamps that were produced by DuBarry. No shade present - it'll be left up to the purchaser to provide their own. It's a fantastic lamp that'll make a statement wherever it is displayed!

MEASUREMENTS: The lamp stands approx. 34.5" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the finial). The distance to the light socket from the bottom of the base is approx. 26.5" high. The plaster porition of the lamp measures approx. 21.5" tall x 12" wide. The resting base at the bottom of the lamp measures approx. 10.5" wide x 6" deep.

CONDITION: Given its age, we'd say it's in very good condition. There are a few cosmetic mentions which we'll note here. First off, there is what appears to be a tight hairline crack in the plaster material on the upper-most crescent about 6" or so below the light socket. It is completely stable, and not really noticeable unless one is looking for it. We have attached photos from various angles, so please view them. Aside from that, there is a very small scuff mark to the surface which we've also attached a photo of. The taupe base at the bottom of the lamp has some spotting which should come out with a gentle cleaning - it didn't bother us, so we just left it as it was acquired. The electrical wiring appears to be original, and there are no issues with it. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly suggest having a licensed professional inspect the wiring prior to long-term use, just to be safe. Being sold "as-is", and "as-described".
