ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an amazing abstract oil painting done on canvas board by artist, Paul Chelko. Circa '60s / '70s. Style: Abstract. Colors: Multi-color. The painting displays nice texture throughout (see photos). It is framed behind glass in a simple wooden frame, and it is surrounded by matting (again, see photos). The painting is signed "Chelko" in the lower right-hand corner of the artist board. It's a beautiful piece that is suitable for all interior settings.
MEASUREMENTS: Including the frame and matting, the painting measures approx. 16.25" tall x 17" wide. The visible artwork alone, excluding the frame and matting, measures approx. 7.75" tall x 9" wide.
CONDITION: Very good condition - the artwork itself appears to be free from having any issues. The matting shows a small faint moisture mark in the lower right-hand corner (see photo). The frame shows paint loss, and some surface scratches here and there, but nothing overly objectionable - it still displays nicely. The brown paper lining on the back side of the frame is torn in spots, and it should be replaced, but in its current state, it does not affect anything. There is a wire hanging mechanism affixed to the back side of the frame for display purposes.
