ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage woven textile lamp shade. Circa '60s / '70s. They are oftentimes attributed to Maria Kipp, but personally, we don't think she has anything to do with them; we're not 100% certain who designed them. Materials: Chenille and wooden stick-like material, metal frame. Colors: Multi-color. It's a great shade that'll complement that lamp base you may have sitting around.
MEASUREMENTS: The shade measures approx. 18" tall. The diameter of the top opening is approx. 16", while the diameter of the bottom opening is approx. 18". The attachment point for the finial is approx. 5.5" down from the top edge of the shade.
CONDITION: Good vintage condition. There are a couple of spots where the small wood-like spokes have broken off, but you really have to be looking for them to even notice - we're solely mentioning this just to be accurate. This is very common with these shades. Aside from that, the exterior surface of the shade is in very nice condition - no rips, holes, tears, stains, pulls, runs, odors, etc. The interior lining of the shade has some moisture marks running throughout, but they are not visible from the outside. Again, just being mentioned for accuracy. The shade is being sold "as-is", and "as-described". We encourage questions prior to purchasing, and we will respond back in a timely manner.
