ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a fantastic vintage architectural watercolor painting done on a heavy stock paper by artist, A. Lauchner. Circa '40s. Colors: Multi-color. The painting is framed behind protective glass, is bordered by matting, and is contained within a thin-edge wooden frame. Upon visible inspection, it does not appear to be signed; however, there may be a signature under the matting - we did not take the frame apart to investigate any further as the painting came directly from the family. The artist was from the Springfield, IL area, and was an architect by trade. There is a wire hanging mechanism on the reverse side for hanging / display purposes.
MEASUREMENTS: Including the frame, this piece measures approx. 28" wide x 21.5" tall. Excluding the frame and matting, the paper that the painting is done on measures approx. 20.25" wide x 13.5" tall.
CONDITION: Excellent condition - no issues to report. No rips, holes, tears, stains, repairs, broken glass, etc. Displays well, and is ready to be enjoyed! Being sold "as-is", and "as-described". We encourage questions prior to purchasing, and we will respond back in a timely manner. All sales are final. Thanks for looking, and please bid with confidence!
